A declaration of love to this legendary creation, a tribute to its fabulous territory of inspiration, Shalimar Millésime Iris highlights the iris and is in line with these precious vintages.
Guerlain Perfumers have created a composition of intimate, caressing and sensual seduction. Present from the first moments on the skin, iris accompanies with a powdery breath the freshness of bergamot, the iconic note of Shalimar and Guerlinade.
Faceted like a jewel, it reveals, alongside rose and white musk, the olfactory complexity that characterizes it. It distills its floral and velvety notes, a marvel of sensuality with the flower of the skin. “Shalimar is the perfume of sensuality. This vintage around the iris reveals a sensuality on the surface of the skin, which reminds me of the softness of silk.
The Shalimar Millésime Iris bottle pays homage to the original, designed for Jacques Guerlain by his nephew Raymond in 1925.
A legendary bottle of Guerlain heritage, its curves evoke the basins of the Shalimar gardens, in a style characteristic of Art Deco. For this new vintage, the famous “bat” label is adorned with Shalimar’s emblematic noirine blue. Recalling its iconic hood, this deep shade also evokes the petals of the pallida iris highlighted in this new limited edition.
