Liu is part of Guerlain's legendary fragrance collection. A collection made up of emblematic fragrances, composed for more than a century by 5 generations of Perfumers. A great lover of Opera, Jacques Guerlain could only be enchanted by Turandot by Puccini. It's hard to resist the charm of Liu, a woman as beautiful as she is heroic, for whom he composed this olfactory poem in which aldehydes play one of their finest roles. They dominate the head and announce, like cymbals, the entry of rose and jasmine which brilliantly deploy the open air of sensuality. Like a musical work, the perfume must have a calm and voluptuous extension. Bet won because, very quickly, the vanilla gives its carnal accents to those of the iris and woody notes.

Designed by Raymond Guerlain, its mythical "inverted heart" bottle is underlined by graceful swirls characteristic of Art Nouveau. A true technical feat, its avant-garde cork in the shape of a hollow heart evokes the delicate romanticism of this monument of perfumery.
