Iris is an elegant and refined flowering plant that hides a treasure. Already considered sacred by the Egyptians, the iris has become, under the name of fleur-de-lis, a symbol of royalty in France. This aristocratic flower brings with it one of the most luxurious raw materials in the perfumer's palette. Surprisingly, it is not the sublime flower but its root, the rhizome, which holds this olfactory treasure. The rhizomes contain Irone, a fragrant, rich and unique molecule that conceals the notes of iris. The flower itself has no smell.

Iris des Champs opens with an accord of bergamot, lily of the valley and pink pepper, evoking the freshness of the morning dew. The sensual heart pulses with an alluring bouquet of iris, rose, jasmine Sambac and ylang ylang. The velvety smooth finale concludes with warm and woody notes.
