In 2016, Jean-Claude Ellena created Terre d'Hermès, a Water connecting man to his origins, to the sources of his creative power. Terre d’Hermès tells the story of man’s relationship to the earth, his humble and harmonious dialogue with nature and the elements. Since 2016, Christine Nagel, Hermès perfumer, has set her sights on Earth to explore new possibilities.

OLFACTORY NOTES

A mineral and woody fragrance, Terre d'Hermès combines the power of cedar and the brightness of grapefruit with a vibrant flint note.

THE OBJECT

On the ground side, the bottle is placed on an orange H. He leaves his mark on the earth. On the sky side, the light reflects on the metal shoulders. Between the two, the transparency of the water.

Once in hand, the Terre d'Hermès bottle reveals many details: the house's emblematic saddle nail, the cover that slides to release the spray, etc. Created by designer Philippe Mouquet, it is inspired by a travel kit bottle, kept at the Emile Hermès museum.
