OLFACTORY NOTES

Floral and aldehydic, Calèche Soie de Parfum combines the refined notes of aldehyde with those of opulent jasmine, alongside a generous rose.

THE OBJECT

Inspired by the lanterns of yesteryear's cars, the bottle is topped with a black cap echoing the riders' bomb. A sign of belonging to the Parfums-Fondateurs collection, the label on the back is illustrated with a drawing by Philippe Dumas.

The Parfums-Fondateurs collection draws its inspiration from the house’s heritage. Each creation concentrates the imagination of Hermès in a name, a fragrance, a color. Over the years, Hermès has written the pages of daring perfumery, born from encounters with exceptional perfumers. Composed by Guy Robert in 1961, Calèche is the house’s first for women.

It is a woody chypre floral, very feminine, whose name echoes the emblematic Hermès carriage. Calèche is a novel that shines with the beauty of its raw materials, from the cheerfulness of citrus fruits to the modernity of aldehyde notes, from the floral heart embroidered with ylang-ylang, rose and jasmine, to the woody, chypre trail, underlined by the nobility of the iris.
