To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the original creation of the Cerruti 1881 juice designed by Nino Cerruti, the House entrusted Symrise with the new interpretation of the iconic juice. The duo of perfumers Alienor Massenet and Maurice Roucel deliver a resolutely modern and as intense version by providing an olfactory signature updated with high quality raw materials.

A modern woody aromatic fougère that begins with a luminous accord of great green basil and Madagascar ginger. Floral softness, lavender and, for the first time, a geranium also from the large island in the Indian Ocean reveal all their sensuality at the heart of the perfume. In the base, patchouli and amber wood accords enhance the liveliness of the top notes and give the fragrance a long lasting effect. The result is a very distinctive modernized fragrance based on the structure of the original creation.

“From the base notes, the dated animal facets have been replaced by vibrant amber woods, for a contemplative sensuality. A high quality patchouli and an exclusive grand green basil were used to further enhance the noble ingredients of the formula. Classic ylang-ylang has been rebalanced and worked with precious Malagasy geranium to highlight a more modern fern look. A luminous hint of juicy pineapple and natural spices fused together gives a natural and immediate hook to the fragrance. »
