Reminiscence

The Reminiscence brand was born in 1970, in Juan-les-Pins, on the French Riviera. It was here that Nino Amaddeo decided to open his very first boutique, alongside his muse Zoé Coste.

Reminiscence wasn't always the perfume brand we know today, it wasn't until Zoé met a perfumer in Grasse in the 1970s that Reminiscence Perfumes emerge. At the very beginning, Nino and Zoé made Reminiscence known in the form of jewelry made of a rather surprising mix of materials (plastic, wood, amber, hand-painted beads, metal chains, etc.) and with colors reminiscent of India and the Orient, countries that greatly influenced the artists of the time.

Nino and Zoé draw their inspiration from the Hindu atmosphere of London in the 1960s, the various markets of antique dealers and local craftsmen in the oriental style and the scents of patchouli which perfume the place knew how to touch the hearts of these two art and jewelry lovers with a slightly eccentric style. This is where we find this exotic side, the ranges of blue and orange, the touch of patchouli often present as in the perfume Reminiscence Patchouli, accompanied by amber and Oud such as Ambre perfumes or Oud de Reminiscence. All of this enhances the perfumes of the Reminiscence brands, thus immersing us in the delights of a fairytale garden of fairies.
